Spelling Homework
*Spelling homework and tests will begin during the end of 2nd quarter or the beginning of 3rd quarter.  

Complete 3 or more spelling activities. You can do it!
1.      Write your words in ABC order.
2.      Write each word in a sentence, underlining each word.
3.      Write your words three times each.
4.      Type your words one or more times.
5.      Write a story, using at least seven of your words. Underline each word.
6.      Create flashcards and study with a partner.
7.      Use magnetic letters, paper tiles, coins or toothpicks to spell out your words   and check to see if you spelled them correctly.
8.      Write your words on a chalk board, on a dry erase board, or on the sidewalk.
9.      Paint your words using watercolor paints or finger paints.
10.   Find the letters or words in the newspaper/magazine. Cut them out and glue them onto paper.
11.    Use beans, rice, or pasta to form your words. Glue them to paper. 
12.    Write 3 words that rhyme with each spelling word.
13. Write the words on paper or flashcards and play Memory. Take turns turning 2 cards over to find the matching word.
14. Make your own board game, using the spelling words.
15. Write a poem and/or a song, using the spelling words.
16. Create your own spelling activity!
